The Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) has recently made headlines for its ambitious PHP34 billion worth of flagship projects. This initiative not only underlines CIAC's commitment to improving the nation's infrastructure but also presents an enticing opportunity for investors ready to contribute to the country's progress. 

CIAC's seven flagship projects, spearheaded by CEO Arrey Perez, are designed to be integral parts of the future Clark Airport City. This strategic development plan is a testament to CIAC's forward-thinking approach and its commitment to the economic growth of our country.

The jewel in the crown of these projects is the 37-hectare Clark Entertainment and Events Center. This PHP21 billion project is set to become a hub for entertainment, recreation, and lifestyle activities, demonstrating CIAC's commitment to creating diverse revenue streams and enhancing the quality of life in the region.

CIAC also turns its attention to the essential issue of food security with the launch of the Clark National Food Hub. This PHP8.5 billion project will transform a 60-hectare parcel of land into a productive food hub, contributing significantly to the administration's food security goals.

This mega food terminal will be supported by the PHP1.6-billion National Food Gateway, further reinforcing CIAC's commitment to ensuring food security and seamless distribution.

CIAC's plans also extend to developing better road networks, such as the planned Clark Direct Access Link. This PHP1.2-billion infrastructure project aims at improving accessibility and easing traffic congestion, further contributing to the growth of Clark Airport City.

 Conservation Program

In its endeavor to foster sustainable growth, CIAC has prioritized the PHP1.8-billion Urban Renewal and Heritage Conservation Program among its flagship projects. This initiative speaks of CIAC's value of preserving history while paving the way for urban renewal.

The other projects include CIAC's new headquarters and Clark's logistics hub, further demonstrating CIAC's commitment to becoming a leading force in infrastructure development and logistics management.

CIAC intends to undertake these flagship projects through a public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement. This partnership approach offers potential investors an opportunity to be part of the nation's growth story while also benefiting from the project's potential success.

This year, CIAC is embarking on project preparations that encompass feasibility studies, architectural and engineering designs, and market sensing. The bidding for these projects is slated for next year, with implementation commencing between 2026 and 2028.
