The project's heart was the replacement of the 34.5 kV electrical switchgears and 35 kilometers of power cables—a testament to the "Fascinating Builds by First Balfour". The venture didn't stop there. Silicon rectifier units and a 2,150 kVA transformer were also replaced, fulfilling not just an operational need, but a promise of technological growth.

With the upgrade, Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) can now remotely monitor and control the substation equipment. This leap into the digital age ensures a more efficient and responsive system, promoting a safer and more reliable commuting experience for the public.
