First Atkins Holdings Corp. (FAHC), the parent company of one of the leading figures in the wholesale and retail meat industry in the Philippines, has announced its significant expansion by acquiring additional lots within AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp.’s (ALLHC) Cavite Technopark. This strategic move marks a pivotal moment for FAHC as it seeks to bolster its presence in the thriving CALABARZON region. Launched in 2015, Cavite Technopark is ALLHC’s second industrial park in the bustling industrial corridor of the country, offering excellent accessibility and connectivity to businesses.

First Atkins Holdings Corp. (FAHC) is a key player in the Philippine meat industry, supplying major traditional and modern trade channels, hotels, restaurants, meat shops, commissaries, and meat traders across Luzon. With its expansion into the South of Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, and the rest of Region IV and Region V, FAHC aims to further cement its dominance in the market. Annually, FAHC distributes over 120,000 metric tons (MT) of quality, affordable meat including pork, chicken, and beef. This remarkable feat is accomplished through a fleet of 150+ trucks and a dedicated workforce of over 900 individuals.

Their facility within Cavite Technopark, officially inaugurated in March 2023, stands as one of the largest continuous cold storage warehouses (CSWs) in the Philippines and the largest in South Luzon. The facility operates with a robust workforce of 180 individuals, showcasing FAHC’s commitment to excellence and efficiency.

Emphasizing its commitment to sustainability, FAHC’s new facility incorporates renewable energy sources. Notably, it boasts 1,078 solar panels contributing approximately 1MW of solar power. This integration significantly reduces carbon emissions and aligns with broader environmental objectives. Such initiatives underscore FAHC’s dedication to not only business growth but also to sustainable practices that benefit the community and the environment.

“We are delighted to welcome First Atkins Group’s expansion within Cavite Technopark,” says Mr. Robert S. Lao, President and Chief Executive Officer of ALLHC. “Choosing Cavite Technopark for their facility and upcoming expansion underscores our shared commitment to creating vibrant business environments that support growth and innovation.”

Mr. Gabriel J. Ang, President & CEO of FAHC, expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s strategic expansion. He highlighted Cavite Technopark’s advantageous location, particularly with the upcoming Bataan – Cavite Interlink Bridge. This infrastructure project is set to revolutionize regional transportation, cutting travel time from four to five hours to just 45 minutes. Such improvements are expected to enhance FAHC’s logistics and distribution capabilities significantly.

Mr. Ang also emphasized the importance of addressing market demand discrepancies and aligning with government food safety initiatives. By leveraging Cavite Technopark’s strategic benefits, FAHC aims to further its goal of delivering high-quality meat products to Filipino consumers. This expansion is not only a testament to the company’s growth ambitions but also a commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the market.

As the region’s leading meat supplier strengthens its presence, Cavite Technopark emerges as a dynamic hub driving economic progress and business excellence in South Luzon. The collaboration between FAHC and ALLHC exemplifies a synergistic relationship that benefits both parties and contributes to the region’s overall development.

The expansion of First Atkins Holdings Corp. in Cavite Technopark represents a significant milestone in the company’s journey. By strategically positioning itself in a prime location with excellent connectivity, FAHC is poised to enhance its operations, meet market demands, and contribute to the economic growth of the region. The company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation further solidifies its reputation as a leader in the meat industry.

In conclusion, FAHC’s expansion within Cavite Technopark is a testament to its forward-thinking approach and dedication to excellence. As the company continues to grow and evolve, it remains committed to delivering high-quality meat products to Filipino consumers while upholding its values of sustainability and innovation. This strategic move not only benefits FAHC but also contributes to the broader economic landscape of South Luzon, making it a pivotal development in the region’s industrial growth.
